La Cienega Waterline Extension Public Meeting November 10, 2014

The following comes from:

David L. Madrid, Project Manager III
Public Works Department/Projects Division, Santa Fe County

The Santa Fe County Public Works Department invites you to attend a meeting on November 10th at 5:30 PM at the La Cienega Community Center to provide you the status of the current phase of design development for the extension of 8-inch waterlines in the La Cienega area of Santa Fe County. The extension will start at the end of Paseo C. de Baca to serve residents on Camino Loma, Cielo del Oeste and Camino La Lomita and loop back to Paseo C.de Baca and have the ability to serve approximately 25 residential properties.

Santa Fe County received a grant from the Water Trust Board to complete the waterline extension; which will cover a significant portion of the total project cost. The purpose of this meeting is to update you on the status of the design of the waterline (we are at 60%) and present a project schedule. It is also the goal of this meeting to field questions from the property owners in the project area and the community. I will have full sized set of 60% design drawings available for this meeting.

Nextdoor

Please consider joining Nextdoor, a community specific, Facebook like website. There were many good reports about Nextdoor at the community breakfast from selling things, to give aways, to finding local community services and resources and you have complete control of who you want to communicate. Thanks to the LCVA Website Manager and promoter of improved community communications Bob De Young for getting our community involved in this.

It is simple to join, just go to nextdoor.com.

Please Remember to Vote on Tuesday! It is your civic duty.
