LCVA News – December 4, 2014

Road Issues

The LCVA realizes this is short notice but LCVA Board member Linda Grill has arranged a meeting for tomorrow, Friday morning, December 5, with Assistant County Manager Tony Flores to discuss road issues in our community, The meeting will be at 10:30 a.m. at the community center. Linda will be presenting a letter to Mr. Flores from the LCVA detailing our community concerns but please try to make this meeting. The more residents we have in attendance the better and if you have photographs please bring them to show Mr. Flores the issues we are facing.

The LCVA efforts are supported by Representatives Garcia Richard and Trujillo and Senator Griego.

County Development Review Committee (CDRC)

Committee Members are responsible for attending monthly public hearings on the third Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. During the meetings CDRC members listen to County staff recommendations, project application presentations and testimony from the public. The CDRC subsequently makes land development related decisions and recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC). Projects heard by this committee range from variance requests to master plans for large subdivisions.
